Today, MED3OOO announced that Tom Skelton is joining MED3OOO as an Executive Vice President and President of the Company’s Technology Services Division. In this capacity, Mr. Skelton will have responsibility for the growth and profitability of all proprietary and non-proprietary technology offerings, including InteGreat, our industry-leading suite of web-based technology offerings. He will be assuming responsibilities formerly held by David Koeller, who began a well-deserved retirement on June 1, 2009.
Mr. Skelton is well-known to those in the healthcare technology industry, with over 28 years of experience in the field, seven of which were spent as CEO of Misys Healthcare Systems in Raleigh, North Carolina. Under his leadership, Misys expanded its product lines and doubled its revenues through a combination of sales growth and acquisitions.
Prior to assuming the top position at Misys Healthcare, Mr. Skelton was Chief Operating Officer for Medic Computer Systems, a predecessor of Misys Healthcare, where he was responsible for product and customer service functions. He joined Medic as Senior Vice President, Research and Development, in 1994. Before this, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Elcomp Systems, Inc., of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he was employed for 13 years.
Mr. Skelton presently serves on the Boards of Microfocus, Plc, the Wake Education Partnership, and the Robert Morris University School of Nursing. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Information Systems from Robert Morris University.
The addition of Mr. Skelton to its executive team reflects the continued commitment of MED3OOO to expanding its role in the U.S. and global healthcare technology software, service, and data management sector.
