MED3OOO APPOINTS KEITH SLATER TO VP OF PRACTICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
MED3OOO, Inc., a national healthcare management and technology company, recently appointed Keith Slater to the position of Vice President of Practice Management Systems for the Physician Services business unit.
In this new role, Slater has been charged with overseeing systems implementation and training, quality assurance and quality control, application support services, and database administration and programming as they relate to MED3000’s physician practice management systems and electronic medical records. Slater will also serve in a senior leadership capacity in the oversight of the company’s account management and insides sales program.
Richard Schickler, Executive Vice President of Physician Services, commented, “We are very excited to have Keith join the organization and feel that he is a natural fit for this role.Keith has had a close working relationship with the company for quite some time since he was our Misys National Accounts Manager.He understands the fundamentals and workflows of implementing and working with practice management systems, and has a vast knowledge base of practice operations.”
Slater brings to the organization over 17 years of experience in the healthcare operations and sales areas. He has been with +Medic/Misys Healthcare Systems since August of 1995 and has held other management positions related to practice management system sales, implementation, training, and research and development.
Prior to Misys, Slater spent 7 years in healthcare administration forming a Physician Hospital Organization. There, Slater was responsible for the recruitment of physicians, credentialing, systems implementation, and billing/revenue cycle management for the Forum Health Enterprises PHO.
Slater will report directly to Mr. Schickler and will work out of his home office in Youngstown, Ohio.He will also have a corporate office in the executive suite at MED3OOO headquarters in Pittsburgh.
