(PITTSBURGH) MED3OOO Group, Inc. (MED3OOO), a national leader in healthcare management and technology products and services for providers and employers, recently appointed Angela Hoffman to the position of Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer. Ms. Hoffman has 29 years of experience in healthcare which includes over 10 years in healthcare compliance and risk management.
In this role, Ms. Hoffman will be responsible for the oversight of MED3OOO’s corporate compliance and ethics program, as well as compliance oversight for MED3OOO’s existing operating units in the U.S. and newly developed operating units outside the U.S.

 Prior to joining MED3OOO, Ms. Hoffman served as both the Director of Compliance for the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Office and the Director of the HIPAA Program Office at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), which employs 50,000 physicians and other personnel in its U.S. and international operations. She also served as the Manager of Regulatory Reporting for the University of Pittsburgh Physicians Compliance Office. Ms. Hoffman began her career in Nursing and held various Nursing Management positions at Allegheny General Hospital and UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside, which are both large tertiary care facilities in Pittsburgh, PA. Ms. Hoffman has also served as adjunct faculty at the Community College of Allegheny County as a Clinical Instructor and has experience in a variety of clinical specialties. Ms. Hoffman earned a BSN and MSN with a concentration in Health Care Management from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA.
