InteGreat EHR 6.3 Earns CCHIT Certified 08 Ambulatory EHR Status

The InteGreat Division of MED3OOO, Inc, is pleased to announce that the latest release of its electronic health record product, InteGreat EHR 6.3, has been fully certified by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology.

The CCHIT Commission added 19 criteria to the 200 required in 2007. As a CCHIT Certified® 08 Ambulatory EHR, InteGreat EHR 6.3 has been tested and passed inspection of 100 percent of the new criteria which includes:

  • Additional electronic prescribing features (access to the patient’s medication history, formulary, and eligibility).
  • Safer medication dosing, adjusted for patient weight and other factors.
  • Better ability to prevent adverse reactions due to drug interactions or allergies.
  • Use of standard formats to exchange basic patient information for continuity of care.
  • Enhanced ability to view x-rays and other diagnostic images.
  • Better management of patient consents and authorizations.
  • Increased use of standard formats when receiving and storing laboratory results.

This certification marks another milestone on our path to ensuring that our clients receive incentive funds being made available under the HITECH Act for Meaningful Use of electronic health records. We are continuing to make additional enhancements to the InteGreat EHR product, and once the guidelines are finalized, we will seek to have it certified as meeting the requirements for Meaningful Use and for CCHIT ’11.
