The federal government is subsidizing physicians who implement Electronic Health Records.

Time is of the essence.

The greatest incentives are going to be offered to physicians who qualify and implement EHRs in (or before) 2010. Typical in-house EHR implementations can take six-to-nine months, with additional time before and after spent in preparation, negotiations, training, and implementation. That doesn't give physicians much time to get ready. It is important to look at options like Software as a Service (SaaS) implementation and browser-based deployment to increase your potential for meaningful adoption. During this webinar, you will learn how the effect of the ARRA HITECH stimulus package will effect your practice and what you will need to do to qualify for the incentives. You will learn how ASP and SaaS service EHR models can speed up your installation and be paid by using the HITECH incentive payments, and how proactive PQRI incentives will be used to capture additional payments.

Jay Anders, M.D. is the CMIO of MED3OOO. Dr. Anders has been a featured speaker in the Healthcare Industry for a number of years, and is an expert in EHR Implementation and Physician Adoption. Prior to joining MED3OOO, Dr. Anders was the CMO of InteGreat EHR. He also was a member of Christie Clinic in Champaign, IL, for 17 years and held the positions of President, Medical Director, as well as Department Chair of Internal Medicine. Dr. Anders is a past Medical Director of PersonalCare HMO of Champaign, IL, now Coventry Health and is a past board member of Provena Health southern service region.

Dr. Anders is a graduate of the University of Illinois, School of Medicine at Chicago, and Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL.
