“InteGreat EHR offered us the opportunity inside our organization to develop a health information management team that works hand in hand with the MED3OOO InteGreat EHR staff in a collaborative fashion to design the modules to fit what we do as an organization, not what is applicable to any organization. This allowed the customization that is required to fit the needs of our clinicians and our nursing staff in providing care to our patients.”

 

MED3OOO: What would you say are the greatest strengths or benefits of the InteGreat EHR system?

TIM: I would say for Olmsted Medical Center, the greatest strengths and benefits of the EHR are the ease of use and the functionality that can be specifically designed for our needs. The opportunity to design the system and the applicability to provide the continuum of care which is the same at all locations, yet is flexible to provide the variations that are required specifically for each practice, have proven to be very beneficial for us at Olmsted Medical Center.

 

MED3OOO: Can you touch on the successful physician adoption you’ve achieved?

TIM: Physician adoption of an electronic health record is always unique and specific to each organization. At Olmsted Medical Center we have a culture that embraced the development of the InteGreat EHR product within our organization. We have found that our physician leadership has also embraced the implementation within all of our clinical locations, including all the clinical locations in the rural environments. For us, physician leadership was critical. We’ve been fortunate to have the physician leadership to implement the system and at this point we have 100% adoption within our organization at all the clinical locations which we provide patient care.

 

MED3OOO: Would you recommend the InteGreat EHR system to other organizations?

TIM: I would recommend the InteGreat EHR to those who are looking for a system that has the functionality to meet the needs of a growing complex regulatory environment and meet the definition of Meaningful Use. We have found that the InteGreat EHR system has a functionality that is easy to use both at the patient care level as well as in our IT environment - and that has proven to be very beneficial for us. Lastly, I would say that the relationship with MED3OOO and the InteGreat EHR system has benefited us immensely by simply the functionality and the relationships we have, and the immediate access we have to the people who are critical in designing the system.

 

MED3OOO: How has MED3OOO been as a partner for HIT?

TIM: We have found the technical and the programming staff to be nothing short of accommodating in designing the system to meet our needs and the patient needs that we have within our organization. We are very pleased to have the relationship that has continued over the past ten years with InteGreat and MED3OOO.
