Our thorough chart evaluation assesses the accuracy of billing and diagnosis coding, the application of modifiers and the performance of complex and problem-prone “incident to” billing. “Incident to” billing has been identified in the current OIG Work Plan as a focus for OIG compliance enforcement efforts.
