PITTSBURGH - PriMed, LLC and MED3OOO Health Solutions are pleased to announce that Arnold Dorosario, MD, Marvin Garrell, MD, and Joseph Herbin, MD have been chosen as three of the best doctors in the New York metropolitan area by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., the publishers of How to Find the Best Doctors: New York Metro Area.

Dr. Dorosario and Dr. Garrell, both internists specializing in geriatric medicine, and Dr. Herbin, an internist specializing in infectious disease, are members of PriMed, LLC, a 53-physician integrated medical group serving Fairfield County, Connecticut.

"We are proud of the skill and dedication of all of the doctors at PriMed, and are especially pleased that Drs. Dorosario, Garrell, and Herbin have been recognized for their excellence," said Nicholas Bertini, MD, president of PriMed, LLC. "All of our physicians are committed to meeting today’s challenges to improve the healthcare and quality of life for the communities we serve."

Doctors were chosen by their peers through a survey conducted by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., the publishers of How to Find the Best Doctors: New York Metro Area. Nominees were sought in every specialty, with emphasis on patient care rather than academic excellence or research. The top 6,000 vote-getters, culled from more than 15,000 nominees, will be included in the fifth edition of How to Find the Best Doctors, to be published in the fall. For New York’s list, Castle Connolly made one more pass, creating an even more selective roster of 1,500 doctors in New York City, Long Island, Rockland County, Westchester County, northern and central New Jersey, and parts of Connecticut. The list is divided into primary-care and specialist physicians.

PriMed, LLC, a 53-physician integrated medical group with 14 locations throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut, serves more than 100,000 patients annually. PriMed is a primary-care and internal medicine-based medical group whose physician specialties include geriatrics, pediatrics, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology, rheumatology, and infectious disease.
