MED3OOO GROUP, INC. PARTNERS WITH AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY TO

PITTSBURGH - MED3OOO has chosen the American Cancer Society its designated charity for the year 2000, as part of its Mission Week to promote company-wide objectives and initiatives.

The MED3OOO mission states that "MED3OOO, in partnership with physicians and other healthcare providers, develops and operates sustainable healthcare delivery systems, dedicated to improving the health of the communities we serve."

The American Cancer Society will receive all proceeds from company promotions, including employee donations required to participate in casual dress days and company-sponsored breakfasts and lunches. MED3OOO employees will also sponsor Relay for Life, the non-profit’s 24-hour relay event.

"It is easy to write a check for a good cause," said Margie Conley, Vice President of Human Resources for MED3OOO Group, Inc. “But at MED3OOO, we try to make a committed effort that demands more from each of us personally. With the inauguration of our company Mission Week, we have created daily initiatives which allow employees, and the company as a whole, to take an active role in supporting our chosen charity, giving us the opportunity to practice what we preach."
