MED3OOO Named as One of the Pittsburgh's 100 Fastest Growing Companies
PITTSBURGH, PA - MED3OOO Group, Inc. ("MED3OOO"), a privately held national healthcare management and technology company, was ranked as the 5th fastest-growing, privately held company by the Pittsburgh Business Times for their 2002 Pittsburgh 100 Fastest Growing Companies Ranking. This honor was given at a recent awards program at the prestigious Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh.
The Pittsburgh Business Times ranks the companies by a percentage of growth in revenue over a three-year period. From this, they develop two rankings: an overall fastest growing and a ranking by category. MED3OOO received a ranking of No. 2 in the Healthcare growth category.
"This is no small accomplishment in an era that continues to see the failure and de-listing of some of the most recognized names in the practice management business," commented Patrick Hampson, CEO and President of MED3OOO. "The fact that MED3OOO is growing and profitable, demonstrates our financial strength."
With operations centers in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Colorado and California, and $170 million under management, the company provides services to more than 2,000 physicians and hospitals, manages over 1,500 employees and directly employs over 400 people. MED3OOO's clients range from small physician practices to large multi-specialty groups and Independent Physician Associations ("IPA"). In each case, clients receive state-of-the-art healthcare management and technology services directed at meeting their individual needs. MED3OOO is well capitalized and projects continuing growth and profitability.
A leader in healthcare management and the integration of healthcare software solutions, MED3OOO's goal is to improve the performance of physician practices through evidence-based management and technology. MED3OOO combines an expert staff experienced in the day-to-day operations of physician practices and IPAs with an information-service team that provides solutions designed to improve clinical and business operations performance.
