MED3OOO Acquires Assets ofChild Health Management Services

Pittsburgh, PA - MED3OOO Group, Inc. (MED3OOO), a privately owned national healthcare management and technology company, recently announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Child Health Management Services (CHMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Children's Hospital of Denver (TCH). CHMS provides information-service access and support services utilizing the Misys Vision™ (formerly +MEDIC Vision™) platform to 12 pediatric groups comprised of an aggregate of 100 providers. In conjunction with this transaction, TCH also entered into a licensing agreement with MED3OOO, pursuant to which TCH will continue to have access to data from the pediatric groups to support research initiatives.

"This acquisition is consistent with our plans for strategic expansion west of the Mississippi," commented MED3OOO Executive Vice President Matthew I. Roslin. "We see this as a good opportunity to develop a local presence in Denver with a client base that is already utilizing a practice-management system that we implement in other regions. While we are beginning our relationship as an integrated systems provider, and as a means to grow our Application Service Provider (ASP) service line, our plan is to offer our full array of services to the group."

Consistent with its policy in other markets, MED3OOO intends to maintain current employees affiliated with the physician groups.
