(Dec. 1, 2003) - Misys Healthcare Systems - a market leader in healthcare IT - and MED3OOO - an industry leader in healthcare management and technology products and services -recently announced its new partnership with Charlotte, N.C.-based Miller Orthopaedic Clinic.
Miller Orthopaedic Clinic - one of the oldest and most comprehensive orthopaedic practices in the Southeast - has decided to utilize MED3OOO's advanced suite of ASP offerings, including Misys Healthcare Systems' enterprise-level practice management system, Misys Vision/Optimum™, and its electronic medical records solution, Misys EMR™ as well as the MED3OOO IQ™ data warehouse. The new agreement extends Miller Orthopaedic Clinic's previous relationship with MED3OOO, which included financial and practice operational consulting.

Once the Misys practice management system is in place, Miller Orthopaedic Clinic is planning a phased implementation of the Misys EMR system - beginning first with transcription, scanning and chart tracking, then ultimately moving toward complete point-of-care for its 25 physicians. The clinic will also access the MED3OOO IQ™ data warehouse, which will be utilized to aggregate the practice management and EMR data for multifaceted decision-support analysis and reporting.
