""We have been able to lower our days in A/R from 58 down to 40 since being with MED3OOO. We have also used CodeScan for three years interfaced with Vision. We reduced our processing time in half. We did not reduce any FTEs but we were able to redirect resources to work on payment entry, correction of electronic claim errors, and updates for insurance changes. The biggest benefit of CodeScan is the edit / audit it does. I was surprised how frequently we missed marking codes. Each physician receives the audit report with a copy of his or her encounter form when there is an omission. This feedback motivated the physicians to mark correctly and link their CPT code with the correct ICD-9 code.
